Research Interests and Projects

Dr. Sheean’s research goals are to combine clinical nutrition and epidemiology. Her general interests include evaluating nutrition therapies during illness and treatment, where she has specifically focused on the impact of parenteral nutrition on stem cell transplant outcomes and on enteral nutrition during critical illness. Dr. Sheean is also a Research Editor for the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and assists with the coordination and implementation of medical nutrition education at the Feinberg School of Medicine.
