Maureen B. Moran, MPH

Research Assistant Professor

Ms. Moran is a graduate of St. Joseph College in West Hartford, Connecticut, and the Yale University School of Medicine with a master of public health degree in chronic disease epidemiology. She completed her dietetic internship at The New York Hospital.

Ms. Moran is the associate director of the program in public health in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine. The Program in Public Health offers an MPH degree through the Graduate School at Northwestern University and an MD/MPH degree through a collaboration between Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine and the Graduate School.

Her teaching efforts include courses in the MPH program and sessions in the Medical School curriculum in the areas of medical decision making, ethics, and nutrition. Her case-based seminar "Ethical Issues in Clinical Research" has been recognized by the Central Group on Educational Affairs of the American Association of Medical Colleges for innovation in medical education.
