A Controlled Trial of CBT for MS Inflammation

The major goal of this project is to randomize controlled trial of a stress management program that will examine the effects of stress and stress management on the development of new gadolinium enhancing MRI brain lesions in multiple sclerosis.

The goals of this Cancer Center Support Grant are to conduct and support cancer research and to integrate cancer-related research throughout the university; to coordinate and integrate cancer related activities of the University including community outreach initiatives; to develop and conduct cancer education programs; to promote and participate in state-of-the are care of cancer patients at the affiliated hospitals of the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and; to develop and implement the initiatives in cancer prevention and control research.
