We are currently recruiting participants for a Carbohydrate Craving Study and for two studies examining how smoking affects mood. Below is a brief description of the types of individuals we are currently seeking to participate in our research. NON-SNACKERS--slightly to moderately overweight women between the ages of 18 and 45 who eat 1 - 3 large meals every day, and do not snack between meals. MIXED SNACKERS--slightly to moderately overweight women between the ages of 18 and 45 who snack primarily on protein products (such as meat, nuts, protein bars, or cheese). SMOKERS--regular smokers (i.e., have smoked at least 15 cigarettes per day for the past 12 months or more) with and without a history of depression.
